At the base of the North Tower, there is a ladder through a ceiling trapdoor to take students to their Divination Class. It was at one time a class that only third years through seventh years could take, but after a curriculum change, the class has been made open to all years that want to take it. The classroom is one large round room and holds a fireplace that always seems to have a copper kettle sitting upon it. The walls are aligned with shelves, tea cups, crystal balls, decks of cards and other items that could help a wizard or witch "glance into the future". Each student is as at a small round table in a comfortable chair, which makes it hard to keep the students attention
