The room has windows looking out onto the grounds. An iron chandelier hangs from the ceiling, although it broke loose and fell during the pixie incident. The DADA teacher's office and quarters are located on the second floor. The class provides students with a firm backbone of defending themselves against dark wizards and witches of the era...as well as creatures that may cross their paths should they choose to set out into the Forbidden Forest.
